Fresh Veggies

Found out a farmers market is held once a month in Harajuku called the Earth Day Market. Was expecting there to be hordes or produce, piles of zucchinis and fresh bake d bread, but instead found fresh gathered(?) honey, a variety of beans and rhubarb. The rhubarb is already queued up for a rhubarb pie that we'll make either tomorrow or the day after.

The walk to the farmer's market took us past a ton of street performers that I didn't know existed. Meanwhile the bridge where all the goth people used to hang out is quietly being taken over people looking for free hugs. I think they are inspired by the video on YouTube, but it just doesn't look like it's flying here in Japan yet.

After the farmer's market and playing around in Yoyogi-koen for an hour or so (frisbee / hackysack), went to the Mexican place in Nishi-ogikubo. Always awesome, always tasty. Go there. El Quixico.
